Lots of legs grew from my fascination of insects. Here at Lots Of Legs we understand that insects aren't to everyone's liking - but with out them our world would be a different place. Now it's my turn to fascinate and excite others with the small army, that keeps our world spinning.

Pet ownership is a rewarding responsibility, and with this in mind we continue to make sure that everyone who comes to us is well-educated and understands the obligations required to keep their new addition happy and healthy.

HISTORY OF LOTS OF LEGS

I started my journey of keeping inverts in 2016 with a handful of Giant Green Bean Stick Insect eggs (Diapherodes Gigantea).

​

The following year I bought my first millipede "April" in 2017.  

​

The collection continued to grow species by species. 

​

Everything was successfully breeding, from stick insects to assassin bugs. 

​

Two years later, after selling some inverts privately and to traders, the decision was made to enter as a trader at the Eastern Invert Show 2019. 

​

The Lots Of Legs adventure had begun. 

​

March 2020 we obtained our animal activity licence. Our vision to educate adults and kids face to face, with the opportunity to get up close and interact with some of the amazing animals we care for ourselves. 

​

Our mission along with fellow entomologists...to get kids back into bugs!
